As Hong Kong’s MPF system nears its 20th anniversary, the industry is evolving towards a more digital and sustainable future. With the full rollout of the eMPF Platform in 2026, MPF administration has become largely paperless, significantly improving efficiency.

To encourage wider adoption of paperless practices, the Association, with the support of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) and the Environmental Protection Department, launched the “MPF Go Paperless” campaign. The initiative promotes digitalisation and sustainability while encouraging the industry to reduce paper consumption and enhance service efficiency.

The MPF Go Paperless logo has been adopted by an increasing number of MPF providers, highlighting the industry’s commitment to digital innovation and environmental stewardship.

As a key stakeholder in Hong Kong’s retirement system, the Association supports the adoption of digital services that benefit both members and the environment. Together, we can create a greener, more efficient and sustainable future for Hong Kong’s MPF system.
